February 9 - 11

Hello everyone!

Some important reminders below:

  • Make sure you are working on your division facts!
  • Families should continue to check the blog every week as we highlight the important learning we are doing in the classroom.
  • We had a review of our class treatment agreement - talk with your child about this!
    • Putting in effort in our learning
    • Not distracting other students and their learning
    • Participation - in class discussions and activities
    • Focus and attention - while Mrs. Desai is giving out instructions or when she is teaching, students need to show focus.
    • Treat others how you want to be treated
    • Safe hands, safe feet, safe words!
Here is what we have been up to this week:

ELAL - We presented our timelines to the class. We also started planning for our story vines.

Math - We continued working on long division. We learned how we can use manipulatives to divide. We also completed a mini-check in today. Take some time this long weekend to practice your division facts.

Science - We completed our research about a planet in our solar system. When we return next week, we will begin writing our paragraphs (more than two!) about our planet.
