Welcome back!

Some important reminders:

  • Please make sure your child is reading for at least 20 minutes every day!
  • Everyone should be practicing their basic math facts (addition, subtraction, multiplication and division) for a few minutes everyday!
Here is what we have been up to this week:

Writing - We drew a Haunted House and wrote about it - we were trying to convince Ms. Vashi to buy our houses.We learned how to plan our writing with a partner. Next week, we will learn about hamburger paragraphs.
 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 


Social Studies - We are learning about the provinces and their capital cities of Canada. 

Math - We learned how to compare decimals. We learned how to draw a number line with decimal numbers on a whiteboard. When Ms. Vashi gave us a few decimal numbers, we were able to put them on the number line and compare them. We learned a new math game - Decimal War!
 

 

 

 

 


 

 

 

 

 

 


Halloween Colouring and Art - We created Pop Art Ghosts!
 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Buddies - We played zombie tag and trick-or-treat tag.
